In this great state of Maine, property tax collection do not include a court hearing, an opportunity to defend your property, contest the tax or seek redress. Effectively the State of Maine had decided the Constitution of the State of Maine need not apply in the face of universal assumption of liability. A quick read of about two court cases reveals the entire premise for the property tax is fraudulent. Nobody should lose the home they paid for because of property taxes!
